Reunited and it Feels So Good

If you’re an ignorant American such as myself, you might head off to Turkey expecting hummus to be oozing from the sidewalks.

And you would be wrong.

Not that sidewalk hummus would be good anyways.

But, after a hummus-less MONTH, that’s right, MONTH I have been reunited with my manna, my life-giving staple.

It’s no Sabra, it was cleverly hidden at MacroCenter among the yogurt, it took my friend Danielle’s sending me a picture of it (because, yes, my love of hummus is that well known) to direct me to it and the container was obnoxiously small, but hummus and I are back together again.

I’d include a picture, but WordPress hates me today.

  1. are you studying abroad? I love hummus but haven’t been able to find any to my liking in London. I tried making kidney bean dip with an imursion blender but it turned out super lumpy. Meh. I’ll figure it out!
